The painting featured on the box has been passed down through three generations! The artwork was painted by Szabolcs Szerencsés’ great-grandfather in Balatonboglár in 1940. As fresh and airy as a gentle Balaton breeze, it touches the face and soul alike. The first sensation comes from the radiant freshness of grapefruit, followed by the delicate notes of moss, amber, and saffron. Jasmine evokes the romantic nights of a Balaton summer, while the earthy, green scent of nagarmotha takes your imagination to the reeds of the southern shore. Lake Balaton is not just a perfume but a journey rich in memories, reminding every Hungarian of the famous Balaton region and evoking countless beautiful moments.

One of the key fragrance notes in Lake Balaton is vetiver (Chrysopogon zizanioides), also known as kusafű in Hungarian. Different varieties of vetiver from various parts of the world differ greatly in aroma. The vetiver from Haiti—used in our Lake Balaton fragrance—is exceptionally pure and ethereal, unlike other vetivers, such as the Javanese variety, which tends to have a smokier and dustier feel. Generally, vetiver can be described as earthy, woody, and green. This note is also prominently featured in the following products: Caesar, La Bohème.

Yes, both our perfume oils and Extrait de Parfum have a very high fragrance concentration, which makes them exceptionally long-lasting, depending on your skin type.

How should I store the perfume and at what temperature?

Since our products are largely made from natural ingredients, we recommend storing them in a dry place, below 24°C, away from direct sunlight.

How can I receive the product?

Our products can be ordered online with home delivery, or purchased in person at any of our Perfume Salons across the country.

Do you really only work with natural ingredients?

No, however, we guarantee that our products are made from at least 75% natural ingredients, and we strive to use as high a percentage of natural fragrance notes as possible.

What if I don't like the scent? Can I return it?

You can find information about the conditions for returning products under the "Refund Policy" tab on the website. If the product has not been opened, we naturally maintain the option for an exchange at our salons in Budapest, Debrecen, Miskolc, Szeged, or Pécs.
